CLASS LOCATION
Opole, 76 Prószkowska St., 2nd Campus of Opole University of Technology, as well as classes in the field (domestic and foreign trips are planned). In the case of traveling classes, participation in them may be associated with payment (e.g. passes, cost of travel and accommodation).
GRADUATE PROGRAMME OVERVIEW (MASTER’S DEGREE)
Studies last 4 semesters in full-time mode - S (day). They end with the awarding of a master's degree.
Graduates of the second degree program in Foreign Tourism have advanced knowledge and specialized skills that allow them to operate effectively in the international tourism environment. He has the practical skills to apply theoretical knowledge in creating and promoting innovative tourism products and unique tourism experiences. The graduate also possesses analytical skills that enable him to evaluate and utilize cultural and natural resources in the spirit of sustainable development. He is equipped with knowledge of advanced information technologies, using artificial intelligence tools to improve processes in the tourism industry. He can conduct effective negotiation, mediation and conflict management in a multicultural work environment, and has the ability to effectively manage cultural diversity which highlights his value as a manager in the tourism industry.
Among the directional content are such subject blocks as:
- management of the tourist complex
- cultural tourism
- programming of foreign tourism events
- contemporary trends in tourism
- management of tourist information
- human capital management in tourism and recreation enterprises
- psychology of consumer behavior
- mediation and conflict management.
The study program includes internships of 240 h.
Classes are taught by young, committed, open to students and willing to cooperate staff, including practitioners from the tourism and HoReCa industries.
Students have the opportunity to complete one semester or a whole year of studies, at one of the partner universities under the LLP Erasmus + international scholarship exchange program (knowledge of English required).
