PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Design and Manufacturing Engineering is a modern degree program conducted entirely in English, which combines advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering with practical skills in product design and manufacturing technology. The curriculum was designed to respond to the challenges of Industry 4.0, emphasizing digitalization, automation, and innovation in production processes. After completing 4 semesters, students have the opportunity to continue their studies at a partner university Henan Institute of Technology (Henan, China) and obtain a diploma from both universities.
Students acquire comprehensive knowledge in the following areas:
- Designing machines using advanced computer techniques (CAD/CAE).
- Modern manufacturing technologies and materials engineering.
- Optimization processes in the design and manufacturing process.
- Quality management, logistics, and industrial processes.
SPECIALIZATIONS
During their studies, students can choose one of two specialized educational paths:
- Mechanical Design (Projektowanie mechaniczne): focuses on advanced design techniques, machine reliability, and vehicle construction.
- Manufacturing Engineering (Inżynieria wytwarzania): focuses on CNC machine tool programming, tooling systems, and repair technologies and quality engineering.
GRADUATE PROFILE
A graduate of this program is a specialist prepared to work in a dynamic international environment, possessing the skills for critical analysis of technical solutions and the design of engineering objects and systems. Thanks to their interdisciplinary education, they are ready to assume managerial roles in design teams and run their own business in the high-tech sector.
